Raise a Purple Finger for Freedom

Here, Clifford D. May, President of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, discusses the Purple Finger for Freedom campaign.

Conceived by 10-year old Shelby Dangerfield of Billings, Montana, the campaign is intended to show solidarity with freedom-loving Iraqis who are going to defy the terrorists next week and vote. Those who support these brave and courageous people are asked to colour their index fingers purple from Monday to Thursday to demonstrate that they stand with those who are embracing democracy in Iraq.

This is a cause I will be getting behind.
