FOX crushing the competition

Interesting figures here on viewership of US news programs, taken from Monday night of this past week.

It is shocking to see just how dominant FOX is. In daytime programming, FOX beats CNN by a 2:1 margin. This increases to 2.5:1 in the evening.

Check out the 8 PM and 11 PM slots:

8pm: O'Reilly: 2,804,000 / Zahn: 766,000 / Countdown: 315,000 / Grace: 705,000 / Stewart: 199,000

11pm: O'Reilly repeat: 1,287,000 / Cooper: 419,000 / Situation: 151,000 / Showbiz repeat: 164,000 / Stewart repeat: 100,000

For all the attention he gets, I would have thought Jon Stewart would be drawing more than 100,000 people. I also can't help but wonder just how pathetic Al Franken's "Air America" radio ratings are. If this is any indication, he's probably going through money like Elton John at a Harrod's boxing day sale.

Hammer, I've been watching FOX News for about a year now. I am going to post something on Big River about my conclusions regarding the network. Look for it soon!
