The latest round of Israel-bashing from the UN, UK and Iran

Hat tip to Fred once again for a number of pieces which show that Israel-bashing is alive and well despite Ariel Sharon's withdrawal from both Gaza and Likud.

First, we have an eyewitness account of the proceedings of a recent "peace" conference in the UK which soon denigrated into the usual hysteria.

Here, we see evidence that the UN truly doesn't support elections in the Middle East (as if there was really ever any doubt about this) as shown by its refusal to acknowledge the presence of the democratic state of Israel.

And finally, this piece details Iranian President Ahmadinejad's recent Holocaust denial and suggestion that Jews be moved to Germany and Austria. I'd like to ask Ahmadinejad what Iran has ever done to improve the lot of Palestinians. Answer: zero. And that goes for all of Israel's Arab neighbours, too, who have used the Palestinians as a stick with with to beat Israel for the last 60 years while doing absolutely nothing to help the so-called "refugees".

The bottom line is that no Arab nation in the Middle East has truly, authentically, acknowledged Israel's right to exist. Those who have said they do were cajoled into doing so by US dollars in one form or another.

The outright hatred that we see from the likes of those at the UK rally and the disgusting moral equivalence from the UN is the real obstacle to progress in the Middle East.
