Muslim Brotherhood takes 19% of the vote in Egypt

I've been following the story of the Egyptian legislative elections.

In the final tally, the Muslim Brotherhood, whose slogan is "Islam is the solution", obtained 19% of the vote and 88 seats out of 454.

Here is an article which outlines the impact this might have in the Arab world.

POSTSCRIPT: The Financial Times suggests that the Bush administration should speak out against the fraudulent conduct in the Egyptian elections, but then says that the White House should engage the Brotherhood. This is puzzling. Wouldn't doing that legitizimize them? Given Mubarak's bungling, I don't think they ARE legitimate since they were one of the only opposition groups allowed to contest the election (in even a limited way).
