The duplicitous House of Saud

Great article here on how the Saudis are once again speaking out of both sides of their mouths.

Long term, eliminating the influence of Wahabbist Islam is the key to winning the war on terror. However, the Saudi royal family is in bed with the clerics who preach Wahabbist hatred and the West can't do anything about it.

As an SUV-driving, gas-guzzling, electricity-wasting, oil dependent society, the Saudis have us by the proverbial short hairs.

We need to focus on alternate energy sources to reduce the influence that Saudi Arabia has on our economy so that we can take the diplomatic bull by the horns and call them on their doubletalk.
