Does the NDP think the ouster of the Taliban was a good thing or not?

Much confusion today regarding the views of Finance Minister Jack Layton and the New Democratic party on the righteousness of Canada's presence in Afghanistan.

It seems they can't decide on whether or not getting rid of the Taliban was a just cause. If anything disqualifies them from serious consideration, this is it.

And they say Harper is scary.

I think what's REALLY scary is someone aspiring to be Prime Minister of this country making excuses for terrorists. Layton needs to stop listening to the York University faculty club and their friends on the editorial board of NOW magazine.

If any of you Dippers out there wonder why you can't catch a break, this is a good example.
