The Party of F

If you've ever wondered why the NDP consistently gets the support of usually less than one in five Canadians at election time, here's why. Check out this blog post from Maude Barlow, titled "Think Twice Before You Vote". My favourite line is "rolling back decades of social progress". In the post below the one I linked to, she says that a Tory win on the 23rd would lead to a "religious revolution".

What?

This type of shrill and alarmist rhetoric is what has undone the Liberals but is just the usual tune we hear from the NDP, which explains why they consistently finish dead last in election after election. They truly believe this stuff.

And what is a "New" Democrat, anyways?

I think a more accurate description for the NDP would be the Party of F, as in:

Freaks (has Nanaimo Cowichan MP Jean Crowder worn a bra since the 1960's?);

Felons (Svend Robinson, nuff said);

Freeloaders (without public sector union dollars, this party would cease to exist); and obviously and consequently,

Fringe.
