Latest example of Liberal fear-mongering

Tonight on the Michael Coren Show, Liberal operative Akaash Maharaj told Tory activist Line Maheux that if the new Conservative party was the Alliance or Reform party, the government wouldn't work for "anyone in Canada who didn't look like the leader".

See it for yourself Friday morning by tuning into channel 25 around 11:10 AM for a replay.

Harper was leader of the Alliance before he was leader of the Conservatives.

How many other Liberals truly believe that and how many other Liberals are saying that to newcomers to Canada who may not know better?

Absolutely abhorrent.

Hi Judy, and welcome. I agree ... there were people in the "legacy" parties that had some out of the mainstream points of view on things. That is an undeniable matter of record, for sure, and is a dark moment in Canadian small c-conservatism. However, to suggest that there was some kind of Arayan undercurrent there is completely beyond the pale, don't you think?
