How's life in that glass house, Mr. Layton?

It has come to light that Jack Layton used a private clinic while getting a hernia operation about 10 years ago.

After reading the story, it looks to me like private delivery of publicly-funded health care services worked just fine for Jack.

Isn't this is exactly what he and his party are against?

And if so, why?
