Maryland imposes tax on current and future Walmart employees

The Maryland legislature is forcing Walmart and Walmart alone to spend almost 10% of its entire payroll on health benefits, or else make forced contributions to the state's health care programs.

This amounts to a job-killing tax on employment, as the Heritage Foundation points out here.
