A cloud in this particular silver lining
The Canadian stock market saw its fourth record day in a row in trading Friday.
This is good news for everyone. However, I don't expect it to continue once the separatists win as many as 65 out of 75 seats in Quebec in just over two weeks' time.
And to think they were down to 37 seats after the 2000 election and are going to almost double that number in five short years, thanks to the sponsorship scandal.
Sigh.

I made a prediction at the outset of the campaign but I would have to check my work email to bring it back up again. I think it went something like this:
Libranos - 115
Tories - 107
Bloc - 65
NDP - 21
I will revise accordingly after the debates as well.
