I think it's pretty safe to say he won't be running in the March election in Israel.
This will have major implications for the Middle East, especially if Netanyahu rises up to fill the void and re-enters Gaza.

I'm sure the people dancing in the streets of Ramallah and Gaza City will remind us of all that, should he pass on.
When you say that you have little sympathy for him, it sounds like you are hoping the guy dies.
One thing is for sure. He didn't take very good care of himself physically in his later years.
