Rumours are flying in East Rutherford

Some commentators have suggested that former Devils D man Ken Daneyko is in line for the head coaching job in New Jersey. I doubt it. Other reports have said that Canadian Junior team bench boss Brent Sutter has been approached, but Sutter has denied it. I would love it if Sutter came to the Meadowlands. The Devils need an ass-kicking, take no prisoners, work-or-you'll-sit coach who will light a fire underneath them. We'll see what happens after Canada plays Russia in the gold medal game Thursday at 6:30.
