Kids, Not Beer
Today in Buckingham, QC, Stephen Harper said that he would give a $500 tax credit to parents for every child they have who is enrolled in something that encourages physical activity, like sports, ballet, etc. Predictably, the conversation between Harper and the press soon turned to Scott Reid's comments from yesterday about beer and popcorn.

Also predictable was Paul Martin, who, obviously realizing that he's in deep doo-doo, mumbled something along the lines of "Stephen Harper ... hidden agenda ... Charter of Rights and Freedoms ... notwithstanding clause ... same-sex marriage" this morning.
No word if the names of every single Scarborough MP came up in Martin's remarks, as they all voted against same-sex, or other prominent Liberals who also voted against same-sex like Paul Szabo, Dan McTeague, Paul Zed or Andy Savoy.
