Monday digest

(Only one entry today because there's really only one story.)

- Like one of the boys at the tire factory used to say, birds of a feather will shit together.

And on the apologist left, we have Jack saying as recently as two weeks ago that there's no need for anti-terror laws and we also have James Loney defending, among others, non-citizen Mohamed Harkat, who admitted to Peter Mansbridge on air that he once rode in a car from Toronto to Ottawa with Papa Khadr, he of the infamous al-Qaeda family which is mentioned in the first link above, but expects us to believe he didn't know who Khadr was.

Gimme an f'ng break. When are finally going to end this moral equivalency routine?

It's times like these that I have to wonder just what Islam is really all about. When you read nonsense like this, it makes me wonder if anyone, including Muslims themselves, really knows.

You don't believe the following, do you?

"Every aspect of Saudi Arabia's society and culture is being openly debated."

I emphasize the phrase "openly debated".
