Joe Clark's legacy lives on
A couple of Joe Clark's boys are carrying on his legacy of vanity, incompetence and poor judgement.
First, Scott Brison breaks a Cabinet confidence, despite his very flimsy protestations to the contrary.
And secondly, Peter Mackay has demonstrated once again that he's in over his head. Thankfully, the PM seems to have reined him in. His pronouncement from yesterday deeming terrorist organization Hamas (despite being illegal in Canada) as a worthy recipient of Canadian aid dollars seems to have been put on hold for now pending "review".
Well done, fellas. Joe would be proud.

MacKay is hopeless, I've said that all along. He may be young, articulate and shows a good image internationally, but the minute he opens his mouth he is going to repeatedly get himself in trouble.
