It looks like Michael Ignatieff is first out of the gates in the unofficial race to become the leader of Canada's next Official Opposition.

Both the price, the promotion and the big names who are organizing the thing (David Smith chaired all of Chretien's electoral campaigns) add up to one thing: this isn't a regular riding-level fundraiser for Joe Liberal candidate.

And I'm not totally sure, but Bay St. doesn't run through Etobicoke-Lakeshore, does it?
