All we are saying

On the heels of a suicide bombing in Afghanistan which claimed the life of a Canadian diplomat, Jack Layton, right on track to finish fourth in a four-man field next Monday, is suggesting that Canadian troops retreat from Afghanistan and return only when the hard part is over.

(With such a vote of confidence in the Forces, he's clearly not interested in the military vote.)

How does changing the subject to Harper's relationship with public sector unions justify Layton's reluctance to endorse Canadian participation in the elimination of the Taliban?

Why not take your concerns to your local candidate, a party apparatchik, or even just a rank and file party member?
