Safety and security should be a bigger issue in the campaign, but it's one everyone's afraid to touch because there are more votes to be lost than gained in any discussion of it.
It's nearly impossible to discuss it in this country because the minute you make a critical comment you face being labelled a racist, or worse, pro-American (sarcasm intended).
