Sports report

It's a great time of year for sports fans.

The NHL season is hitting the midway point and trade rumours are flying. It looks like Dougie Weight is on his way back North, which will be great to see. I also think that it's pretty certain that we'll be seeing at least one Canadian team in the finals.

As for the NFL, although my team, the Kansas City Chiefs, were unlucky in their push to the playoffs, things are also getting interesting as the wild card round concludes this afternoon. New England is back in playoff form with their win over the Jags yesterday. I will be cheering for whoever comes out of the AFC.

In baseball, the Jays got rid of Cory Koskie for a no-name prospect. Thinking is that the outfield will include former 3B/1B Eric Hinske. I hope that experiment goes well.

And finally, even the Rapshow, as my brother Brian calls them, are heating up. But who really cares about the NBA anyways?
