WSJ journalist quits to join the US Marines


Just after 9/11, Arizona Cardinal Pat Tillman was applauded for quitting pro football and going to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan. Tillman later died in combat. Many people wondered why a rich, successful young man would give up fame and fortune for a military life. Now, Wall St. Journal writer and Pulitzer Prize nominee Matt Pottinger, pictured above on the right, has done the same thing after numerous foreign postings for arguably the world's most prestigious daily.
