Walmart saves Americans $2,329 per household in 2004

This, from a Dem policy analyst, which can be found in a very thoughtful piece here.

No doubt it's the people who are middle and lower class who are saving the most, because the "rich" don't shop at Walmart.

The company has also started to fight back against negative publicity with this website.

I live in the Southern California. I Drove 35 miles to a Supercenter yesterday just to see what it was like.

The prices were an average of 40% less than my local Vons. They had a better selection on just about everything and some items were 1/3 of the price of Vons.

Plus I can just go and get what I want and don't need to worry about the sales.

I figure that Walmart will save me $5000.00 per year on food alone.

If that is not good for the american family I don't know what it. These supermarkets and been ripping us off for years and it is time they get.

How about Walmart Electric and Gas?
